Rasa (Rah'-sa) Creek Farm grows Organic Seed & Culinary Garlic, as well as Scapes and Bulbils, for distribution throughout Canada.
The farm is also an educational center for excellence in Permaculture Design and serves as a showcase Permacutlure site for the North Okanagan and all of BC. Regular workshops will be scheduled throughout the summers.
Additional crops include: Rhodiola Rosea, Sea Buckthorn and Haskap Berries (Honeyberries) with more to come as our extensive Food Forests are intalled.
Culinary Garlic and Scapes
Great garlic is poetry on the tongue. If you've never tasted gourmet hardneck garlic, well... then you've never really tasted garlic. Just like fine wine, the subtle nuances of a given meal call out to be supplemented by just the right garlic. Some have a nutty or vegetative quality. Others are more sulfurous or hot. Some are soft as goose down while others will slap you across the face.
